Utah Women in Film Board Members:

RENNY GRAMES - President, UWiFT Executive Board

 

Renny was elected President in 2020 after serving as the Director of Programming where she spearheaded the launch of a new website for members, and shifting the groups programming online during the COVID19 pandemic..

 

She has produced for top brands such as Reebok, Nokia and Sony, including award winning spots for Showtime and Coca-Cola. She is a classically trained actor with numerous television and indie film credits.

 

She also produces and stars in the YouTube channel Freakin Rad which has garnered multi millions of views and has a loyal fanbase. She is currently producing the feature film Alien Country.

CHANTELLE SQUIRES - Vice President, UWiFT Executive Board

Chantelle Squires is an Emmy award winning filmmaker. She directed and produced “Jane and Emma” a historical drama released in theaters in 2018. She also directed and produced “Reserved To Fight“, a feature length documentary that received finishing funds from ITVS and aired nationally on PBS. She produced the third season of “The Generations Project” for BYUtv, which was awarded an Emmy for the episode “Natalie“.

 

She was the founder and owner of the production company MirrorLake Films, where for 10 years she developed, directed, and produced documentaries and non-scripted television content. She is the owner of Clearstone Films.

JO McEVOY - Secretary, UWiFT Executive Board

Jo has had many years of experience in Sales and Administrative positions in small to large corporations and on-profits and has served on two boards.   In a previous position, she headed a team of 25 Sales Reps for a software company.  Jo has also held Executive Assistant postions in the hospitality and education fields.

​

She is a fifth generation California native and has been living in Utah for 4 ½ years.  Jo is excited to use her experience and expertise to support the UWIFT Board in growing and achieving our goals.

JUDY DAY - Treasurer, UWiFT Executive Board

JUDI BELL  - Director of Development, UWiFT Board of Directors

 

Judi Bell is currently the CEO of Iconic Media Productions, but she began her career in the Entertainment Industry as a child actor & model. She then pursued an education in design, marketing, color science & computer science. 

​

Judi excelled at a variety of crew positions, including: Producer, UPM, Line Producer, Director, 1st AD, 2nd AD, Script Supervisor, Production Designer, Prop Master, Set Decorator, Set Dresser, Art Director, Art Department Coordinator, Scenic Painter, Graphic Designer, Costume Designer, Costume Supervisor, & Publicist and she worked at Paramount Studios for 3 years, has been involved with Sundance since 2005, and owned/operated a successful Hollywood prop-house for 10 years.

DARBY BAILEY - Director of Technology, UWiFT Board of Directors

 

For the past 20 years Darby has been a sought after voiceover artist in the tech sector for Fortune 100 and 500 companies, heard billions of times worldwide as a voice of IoT. As a musician and music publisher, her music has appeared in film and television on NBC, E!, and Oxygen, through Universal Music. She also writes and directs short and experimental films through her production company, Pip Projects, Inc.

 

She holds a BA in Creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles, an MBA-IT from Western Governor’s University, and a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She is currently a PhD student at Regent University, where she is researching interdisciplinary entertainment education narratives and human computer interaction.

SUSAN McEVOY - Advisory Board, (Former President, Honorarium)

Sue stepped down from the Board of UWIFT in 2020, after serving in various capacities for 7 years. She joined Utah Women in Film in 2013 and was elected to its Board of Directors in 2014, and until 2017 filled the roles of Director of Funding & Sponsorships and Vice President. From 2017-2020, she served as President.

​

Her film work includes writing several feature-length scripts and writer-for-hire projects, as a screenplay analyst, and judging writing competitions for the former National Writers Workshop in Los Angeles.  While in Utah, Sue has produced one feature film and is currently in pre-production for her second. 

 

Sue also serves on the Executive Board of Women in Film and Television International.
