For the past 20 years Darby has been a sought after voiceover artist in the tech sector for Fortune 100 and 500 companies, such as Microsoft, AT&T, American Express, UPS, Disney, Delta Airlines, etc., and has been heard billions of times worldwide as a voice of IoT.
As a musician/songwriter and music publisher, her music has appeared in film and television on NBC, E!, and Oxygen, through Universal Music.
As an interdisciplinary artist, she has held art shows in Venice, CA, for both her illustrations and experimental music theatrics.
As an actor, she trained for ten years with Sam Christensen Studios in Burbank, CA, along with many other teachers and workshops in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
Darby holds a BA in Creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles, an MBA-IT from WGU, and a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems from the School of Business at the University of Utah.
She is currently pursing a Ph.D. in Communication, researching Entertainment-Education methods and the use of robots, voice assistants and AI in multimodal edutainment for youth. She serves on the board of Utah Women in Film & Television.
